StorEdge 7.0 kW hybrid inverter 3-phase. The ideal solution for 3-phase installations with battery storage systems. It involves the regular inverter to which the solar panels are connected, as well as the battery inverter in one cabinet.
This hybrid inverter from Solaredge still works with the trusted SolarEdge optimiser, so shifting shadows are no problem at all for the system. Also, this StorEdge inverter works with the familiar setapp, so that commissioning is nice and clear and monitoring per panel, but also of the battery and self-consumption data can be monitored in one clear app. Due to the DC coupled system, as little energy as possible is lost in converting direct to alternating current.
Feel free to connect up to 9450 watt peak to this inverter, but keep in mind that it will never produce more than 7000 watts of AC power.
The battery that may be connected to this inverter has a maximum DC output of 7000 watts, has a voltage range of 40 to 62 volts and a maximum continuous input current of 130 amps. Communication with the battery system is via CAN protocol. The LG Chem RESU 6.5 Low Voltage battery is a suitable battery with this inverter.
The factory is located in Israel and offers a 12-year warranty. The StorEdge 7.0 kW hybrid inverter can be connected to the internet by Ethernet cable as standard. Wi-Fi connection can be achieved through a Solaredge Antenna. With a connection to the Solaredge monitoring portal, you are always aware of the state of your solar panel installation.
Solaredge also excels in safety measures. If something goes wrong, the inverter will reset all optimisers to 1 Volt, creating a safe working voltage. For example, it is also possible to set the inverter to detect arcs and
CAUTION: This inverter is not suitable for off grid applications. The moment the mains power is cut, the inverter switches itself off. However, it is possible not to connect a battery to the inverter for a while, and initially only supply it with solar panels and grid power.
