To make a basic Growatt ARK High voltage home battery system, you need a number of components. We’ve bundled these here so you don’t have to puzzle yourself.
For a complete working Growatt ARK High voltage home battery set for MIN XH and MOD XH inverters, you need at least the following:
- 3x a Growatt ARK 2.5H-A1 High voltage battery.
- The Growatt BDC 95045-A1
- Cabling for Growatt ARK XH
- If you want to install it on the ground, you will also need the Growatt ARK Base.
Please note that you need a Growatt backup box 1-phase or the Growatt backup box MOD XH-BP to make use of the emergency power function (emergency power via the backup box is available for the MIN XH, and the MOD XH-BP inverters)? For a battery system to work properly, it should always be fitted with a Growatt smart meter 1-phase ora Growatt Smart meter 3-phase. This way, the inverter also knows when to charge or discharge the battery.
You need at least 2 Growatt ARK 2.5H-A1 High voltage batteries for a 1-phase inverter, and at least 3 battery modules for a 3-phase inverter. So for a MIN XH inverter, you arrive at a minimum storage capacity of 5.12 kwh, and for MOD XH inverter at a minimum storage capacity of 7.86kWH. Both battery systems can be expanded up to 10 modules and then you have a capacity of 25.6kWh.
The Growatt ARK high voltage set for XH can be combined with the following inverters, among others:
- Growatt MIN 2500TL-XH hybrid
- Growatt MIN 3000TL-XH hybrid
- Growatt MIN 3600TL-XH hybrid
- Growatt MIN 4200TL-XH hybrid
