The big advantage of a short string 3-phase inverter is that you have the minimum of 16 panels in 1 string reduced to a minimum of 9 with the S440 or S500 optimisers, or when using the S500B optimiser a minimum of 8 solar panels in 1 string. This is considerably shorter and solves the problem of high-power panels on 3-phase inverters.

Feel free to connect up to 5400 watt peak to this inverter, but keep in mind that it will never convert more than 4000 watts.

SolarEdge inverters are known for maximising efficiency by individually fitting ps panel with a SolarEdge optimiser. The factory is in Israel and offers a 12-year warranty. As standard, the SolarEdge 4.0 kW inverter can be connected to the internet using an Ethernet cable. Wifi connection can be achieved through a Solaredge Antenna. With a connection to the Solaredge monitoring portal, you are always aware of the state of your solar panel installation.

Solaredge also excels in safety measures. If something goes wrong, the inverter resets all optimisers to 1 Volt, creating a safe working voltage. For example, it can also be set to detect arcs and switch off the inverter.
